Anyone watch The Fall?

Cause I have a question about a possible correlation between the two shows. I could be mad, and way off base, but...
I have been watching Broadchurch very enthusiastically, and just finishing season 1, but it struck me odd
that David Tennant's character is estranged from his wife, who was also an Inspector, who just happened to have an affair while on the job. Her car was broken in to while she stopped to shag a guy in a hotel.... Sounded familiar so just putting it out there....

And I haven't seen The Fall, but I'll probably get onto it and see if Dornan deserves any credit after the abominable Shades of Grey.

He got Shades of Grey because he deserved the credit from The Fall - I didn't see FSoG, but The Fall is good
