I wonder how similar it is to Broadchurch. I'm hoping they make some changes to the series. I didn't like the fact that Gracepoint was literally a shot by shot remake, and then they just added an extra 30 minutes of footage onto the last episodes.

Gracepoint wasn't a shot-by-shot remake, except for the first episode. It had two extra episodes, and two extra subplots (Tom's kidnapping, and Hardy's daughter visiting) not present in Broadchurch.

That amounts to 1 episode of Broadchurch or 1 episode plus 4.5 minutes of Gracepoint.
It is not 2 episodes' worth of extra material.
I hope they make some changes as well. I hated what they did with Gracepoint.
