Do you think The Raid 3 can still get recognition?

It did look like when Tom Yum Goong 2 was released, people has tired of Tony Jaa's traditional fighting style (his fighting style was announced as Muay Thai, however, he jump too many times during his fight, while Muay Thai doesn't require participants frequently jump, many Tony Jaa jump kicks looks more like Capoeira). Tom Yum Goong 2 was ignored when it came to theaters

Do you think The Raid 3 can still get recognition? If the fighting sequences of The Raid 3 are still too similar to both first films, I guess people will tired

Yeah...if it's released in 2018/2019 (and cast some notable martial artists). The Protector was released in 2006 (US) and the sequel was released in 2014 (US). That is too long in-between sequels... plus the trailer looked like crap.

The Raid 3 needs to come out no later than 2019 and cast some notable martial artist to get more people interested other than just us fans.

The director maybe had hoped that the remake would still be made before/around 2018 so it will help 'the recognition' of The Raid 3 which I still think it takes too long between the 2nd movie. As for the fighting style The Raid 1 & 2, to me they looked different.
