I didn't forget a thing and I actually enjoyed it more than part 2. The first one is still the best for me, but this one was easily on par for the franchise.

Sorry, this is my favourite of the three and I'm a huge fan of the first two. Opinions are funny like that, different people have different ones.
shareI'm somewhat more aligned with you. I see the three as a body of work and each installment was more exciting than the one before. I found this last one a satisfying ending to the trilogy.

shareI enjoyed the villain very much. He scared me just enough and was comical at the same time. The musical motif theme that came with him was stunning as was all the artwork surrounding him.
I didn't find the characters weak. Maybe there was less emphasis on character building and more on plot in this one, but again, I don't really see this part as separate from the whole of the three films together. It was a story told in three parts. What I wonder about is what direction will it take now, since three more movies are planned.
I liked this one better than the second one.
