Green screens are lazy
This movie made heavy use of green screen which made the locations often feel fake--because they were! This is a cheap cop-out. Historically, the Muppets went to the actual locations -OR- at the very least were shot on an actual 3-D movie set dressed as a certain city. Now they're just getting lazy and shoveling us this green screen shit like we're too dumb to notice. No thanks!
