shareIt was shown in B&W, which usually means its a dream or an hallucination, possibly his own.
shareThat's right. The black and white sequence in the car going fast then crashing in the tunnel was him crashing on the ER table and them trying to bring him back.
The tunnel makes an appearance too when he's going toward his mum's voice in the white light with Livvie calling him back to life at the other end.
All the usual "death tunnel" stuff. haha
But the car crash was very stylistic--as he was "crashing" on the table...
