Stupid title wants to curry favour with the Transformer demographic

What a stupid title for this final movie hoping to curry favour with the Transformer demographic for more boxoffice dosh.

I never liked the title. Battle!!! Five armies!!! A lot of CGI action!! To please the 14-18 year old crowd!!

Yes, back in the 30's, Tolkien foresaw the future awesome Transformer movies that would come to be and decided to have a battle that dominated several chapters that he called The Battle of Five Armies in the text of The Hobbit. So he's really the one to blame!

reply

Tolkien has nothing to do with the title, dumbass

reply

Yuh huh! Does so!

reply

Well, since an entire section of "The Hobbit" book is entitle "Battle of Five Armies," I think it is fairly obvious that the third film of the trilogy was taken directly from Tolkien's work. So yes, Tolkien did have something to do with it, granted not deliberately. And the title is hardly stupid, nor was it intended to appeal to Transformer fans.

Well, the original title was "There And Back Again", which most would probably think is gay.

reply

That would have been incredibly apt and sweet.

reply

Too generic.

reply

‘There and Back Again’ would have been so much better.

Do you feel the same way about Terminator 2 Judgement Day, Star Wars A New Hope, Star WarsThe Empire Strikes Back, and Star Wars Return of the Jedi?
