The Soundtrack

I see no one else has really said this yet but...

Good god was the soundtrack awesome! Blending the real upbeat heroics with 80's synthesiser to match the era TDKR is set in.

I hate to speak blasphemy here, but it's kind-of better than Hans Zimmer's Dark Knight trilogy soundtrack. Hans' music makes for a good soundtrack but nothing makes the tone of Batman seem as good or have as much heroic excitement than the music by Christopher Drake in this.

I hope they get him to do some of the music for the live action DC Universe and not just keep him in the animated film/series department.

hey,
i was going to write about the soundtrack too as i thought it was great.
I was certain it was Hans Zimmer actually as it reminded me of Inception.
thoughts?

Agreed, it was iconic...

It definitely felt like it was aping Zimmer's stuff a bit, but hey, why not? It's a great score. It turns a triple into a homerun, if you know what I mean.

Agreed the track See You In Hell in particular was effing awesome!!!

In Southeast Asia we'd call this kind of thing bad karma.

Anyone know the name of the piano track playing while Bruce and Gordon are in the bar drinking at the beginning?
