DANIEL13613,

It’s been month sense I posted that on the boards and you’re the only one who messaged me. As far as I’m concerned your one great dude and I’m happy to know that I’m not alone in my sentiment about that abomination: The Dark Knight Rises.
Love your picture by the way. One of cinemas great heroes because it’s not only my 2nd favorite movie of all time, I love that unmasking scene. There are so many great layers in that movie. Social Satire, Action, Corruption of Corporations on Cocaine, and my personal favorite: Robocop as our modern day Jesus Christ figure; but an American one. Not the guy who says love your enemies and turn the check. I wish we had an AMERICAN JESUS like ROBOCOP!

You probably already know this but Peter Weller was the voice of Batman in THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS! I can’t think of a better actor alive, eve Kevin Connroy, who was as perfect as this Batman could possibly be. My favorite moment was when Batman nearly paralyzes this guy and the cop on the scene was like “You just crippled that man” and Batman responds, “He young, he’ll walk again, but you’ll stay scared, won’t you punk.” That isn’t just my so called Batman or this generations Nolan Batman: THIS IS BATMAN!

I agree, only if you combine email parts 1 and 2, but the dark Knight is the ultimate number 1 heads above all else batman/comic in general movie

Yeah. I liked Dark Knight Rises, but not as much as I hoped given the first two installations of the trilogy. This film, on the other hand, was really great - really something. Maybe because it didn't have the hype or the previous films' successes to live up to it could just quietly do its thing and impress its audience.

Loads better.

While personally loved The Dark Knight Rises I do agree this is much better 

In Southeast Asia we'd call this kind of thing bad karma.

This is lots better.

As someone says on one of the special features on the Blu-Ray, 'The Dark Knight Returns' overshadows everything Batman related that has been produced ever since. TDKR does not rate against it in any way, Nolan's Bruce Wayne is a mother fixated, tactically incompetent, enfeebled travesty of Kane and Finger's iconic archetype.

An opinion is not offensive just because you do not agree with it.

That deserves a Round of applause.

Wish I could have had come up with that during the time "Rises" had come out. I'm wondering how many times you came across someone who was fixating on the Nolan interpretation, and what kind debate that would have turned into? I've certainly run across all sorts of people who won't acknowledge historical facts about the character.

Debates on the subject usually end with the Nolantard resorting to abuse and threats of physical violence, which is funny not only for the obvious reason, but also because many of them clearly have no idea how to actually throw a punch.
