ha! anyone else notice this?

When Bruce was having his back treated by Alfred, and Gordon calls him, on the little red phone that had the same beeping ring as the 60's show lol

i saw it and loved it
i didnt check but i assume it was in the book?
book was in '86 prob written in '85 or '84 and that is a lot closer to 66-69 when the show was originally on so it was lot fresher in peoples minds
i did love seeing that camp cameo? not even sure what to call it
in the midst of the most brutal incarnation of batman we've seen outside of comic form

one could interpret it as showing what the 60's batman turned into as an old man
wouldnt that be something

In the book it wasn't as obvious. In that scene, both Alfred and Bruce are shown holding a red reciever with a red cord, but the rest of the phone isn't shown, so it would be kind of a stretch to assume that from the book alone.
