Marvel vs DC animated movies

Marvel is releasing a straight to DVD animated feature called Iron Man & Hulk: Heroes United.

Is this the first in a long line of animated titles Marvel's going to produce?
Will they be able to compete with DC's animated movies?
To compete do you think DC will create an CG movies?

The cell shading looks terrible and I don't like Tony's voice. The Marvel anime movie being made with Madhouse, Iron Man: Technovore, looks light-years better.

Marvel has made animated films before, but their most recent as far as I know is THOR: TALES OF ASGARD (2011), but I think that one was on hold for like a year or two. Is Marvel really making animated films again? I sure hope so. I'd love to see adaptations of WORLD WAR HULK and CIVIL WAR.

Anyway, as for Animated Marvel versus Animated DC, that is a lamb to the slaughter. BATMAN: MASK OF THE PHANTASM alone beats down any Marvel Animated Movie.

I'd like to see more animated films from Marvel, but at this point there's no doubt the DC Animated Films are superior.

^Batman: Sub Zero or The Batman Vs Dracula beat any Marvel animated movie hands down, let alone any of DC's all time best with; Batman: Mask Of The Phantasm being used as the main example most of the time.

^Same here, i'm way above all that silly; DC Vs Marvel debate thing, and am now too old for any stupid favoritism's between them both. But DC have had the animation thing down for years, and we're only left questioning why some of them aren't make into actual theatrical releases cos they're so good most of the time anyways.

Marvel isn't a patch on the DC animated features unfortunately.

Marvel takes it in live action but DC has the best animated movies. I would have given Marvel the animated department during the Avenger movies, Dr. Strange, Hulk stuff. Once they started the motion comic stuff I hated them. When they do regular looking animation they are good.

I wish Marvel would take a hint from DC and adapt some of their famous story lines. They sort of have on a few occasions but mostly seem to do original stories. Would love to see Dark Phoenix, Kraven's Last Hunt, The Coming of Galatus or Under Siege done as they originally appeared even with a retro look to fit the times.
