I finally watched this last night. It was pretty damn good, but, is it just me, or was Weller sleep walking through his performance?

yeah, i kinda got that...i think he's playing the slumming scholar, as i think he's still working on his phD in art history. you know how that is. still, a slumming peter weller is better than most other "present" voice actors. i'm sure kevin conroy would have been just as good (your bone, intolerant fanboys...).

Actually, I don't think that Rino Romano would have been bad--for Batman: Year One. He had really grown into the role by the final seasons of The Batman.
I had been hoping for Kevin Conroy for this, too. Michael Ironside would have also been good, but Weller is an acceptable substitute.

I don't remember him even raising his voice! But yeah, weller is better conceptually than most.
