One thing I'm glad they left out

That image of a naked Bruce Wayne hugging Robin. That just... Well, it's Frank Miller.

How does it feel to be deconstructed?

I'm disappointed they left out that scene.
They had Batman wearing boxers so I don't see there being a problem.

and...
He doesn't show any signs that he wants to get into her tights...
Later on, he actually shows a regard towards her well being saying,
good soldier, good soldier

Of course it's not meant to be taken that way. Nobody would like TDKR if Batman was a creeper who liked children.

But just that singular image struck me as being creepy. Which is why I suppose they left it out of the movie.

He would be like the super hero Kevin Conroy played in The Venture Bros :)

I always thought that was a gutsy and powerful image. I think Miller was trying to show that this was frikkin BATMAN, for God's sake. Even a cute 13 year-old girl would not think he's up to anything. She so trusted him as an almost mythic character that she didn't even think twice about hugging a naked man in his creepy batcave. There was not the slightest thought of anything sexual in that scene, and I think Miller wanted to suggest that ONLY Batman could have inspired that trust in a young girl, and also that Wayne was above being a lecher and a pedophile, and she surely knew it.

If you notice, they did NOT show any boxers on Wayne after the first Leader fight. They kept that area in shadow:)
