Holy cow. This movie creeped me out! I haven't gotten chills like these since I saw the (original) Ju-On movies. The athmosphere, acting and story was really outstanding. What a rush.
I agree. I loved watching it in the dark.

The corny/cheesy aspects in the film really kept it from being close to scary. It takes more than poor special effects and 'weird' noises to really immerse me into the horror of the situation.
Acting wasn't bad though, especially the kid who is really young for such a major part, but obviously very talented.
What "poor special effects?"
