shareThis movie made over $200 million worldwide, it should have a sequel.
Unfortunately, the budget for WHD was so ridiculous high it was labeled a flop.
OHF gets a sequel with only a $160 million worldwide, but OHF had a more realistic budget, so it consider a success.
That fact is this one of many Sony Pictures screw ups.
With WHD there were two major screw ups:
1. This movie having a superhero franchise type budget.
2. Moving the release date from a safe low competitive November 1st to a highly competitive June 28th,where it had to compete with superhero and animation franchise movies.
By the way, the people who was running Sony Pictures in 2013 are now gone.
