Did love Rey a little right? Is that why he cried looking at the old man?

Anyone else think that Eric was taking Rey's body out at the end to bury?

I thought he burned him with the rest.

He buried him separate from the others.

I don't know everything. Neither does anyone else

He buried his dog separate from the other's. He put Rey in the wood pile with the other's but laid him down ever so gently. I believe that Eric and Rey had formed a unique bond which made the movie shine more for me and the single tear that rolled down Eric's cheek spoke volumes. It was like at that moment, Eric became human again.

Well said and I totally agree. The way Eric laid Rey down, different from how he did with the others, showed his respect for him.
