she would be granted an early release for releasing the hostages. For the first half of the riot, she was easily one of the leaders and even orchestrated a "cavity search" for one of the hostages. Any of the hostages would be able to easily identify her as a riot leader. Yes, she did have a change of heart and behavior once she realized that her sentence had not been extended, but that doesn't erase her previous behavior.
It's obvious that the MCC executive was just stringing Gloria along because MCC wanted the riot to be over, but if there was an actual deal and an inmate could actually earn early release, she would have no chance.
