Can't decide if I like it or not... (Possible spoilers)

I'm in the middle of episode 7, and I do plan to finish all the episodes, but I can't decide if I like it or not. Part of my initial problem was that I didn't really understand part of what was going on, the timing between events, etc - I wasn't so familiar with the actual history behind the show...so I spent a little time reading about the people and the time period (not tons, but enough to get a good broad view of period and some understand of the people/families/relationships/etc). BUT, now I feel like after learning about the people/events, I'm almost more irritated about some things! I realize show/movies always take liberties with "true" stories, but it doesn't make it less bothersome in my opinion. For example, I can understand them not wanting to change out the lead actors/actresses, but, if I understand correctly...George & Richard were supposed to be 10/12 (respectively) at the time the series starts, and Isabel/Anne even younger.

Also...anybody else wish that they'd give the dates a bit more. The time jumps are a bit tough to follow...I tried to figure them out by who was pregnant or # of kids each lady had, lol. But, a simple "Spring 1471" woulda been nice...or even just "6mths later" etc etc.

Anyone agree?
