So I just read that Chiwetel Ejiofor is moving up in the running to be the next Bond. I just wanted to get people's opinion what they thought or who they think should play the character next. Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this.
shareAidan Turner was in the running for awhile. He'd be the absolute perfect Bond. I'd watch again if he was going to play him. I had no interest in Daniel Craig as bond at all.

shareI love him as an actor but I don't see him as Bond. He doesn't have that sex appeal, in my own humble opinion of course. I could totally see Idris Elba though! Yum!!

Idris would have been a good pick, but he's open to playing an antagonist to Bond.

shareMeh! Colin Salmon or Idris Elba could have worked 10-20 years ago but both are too old now. That said, I don't think Chiwetel Ejiofor is a good choice at all. He's a good actor but just seems totally wrong. Henry Cavill seems to be a popular choice that pops up & while I think he's certainly capable, I'm just not a fan of Bond being a "pretty boy" type.

-Idris Elba
-Henry Cavill
-Tom Hardy
-Jacob Elordi
Out these names, I while Hardy and Cavill are good choices, Hardy is pushing 45 and is an unlikely choice, Elba is almost 50 but would have been great 10-15 yrs ago and Elordi is too young.
Also according to a video by youTuber TheBondGeek, he states that EON are looking at Cavill as their choice while Amazon is looking at Aidan Turner, an actor who I could see in the role, he kinda looks like the Bond of the books, he isn't as well known though Poldark is quiet a popular show, he also did the Hobbit movies, and if you find a picture of him in a tux, he would remind you of one time Bond candidate James Mason
