Wow. Not since "Ten Little Indians" do I recall a murder mystery with such a tiny total population number of possible suspects.
On an island with 70 inhabitants isolated by an ongoing major storm, making escape impossible....and a couple of visitors, including the Oxford academic....hm.

I'm sure he'll solve the case... although with the constant mentions of bad weather on Mainland Shetland preventing anybody coming or going from there I'm surprised nobody has mentioned that Orkney isn't that much further from Fair Isle!
In reality there would also be a lot more people on the Island as the Bird Observatory is effectively the island's hotel and there are usually about forty visiting bird watchers staying there... it is a great place to visit!

I remember Murder She Wrote and Hart to Hart. Anyone who saw those feckers arrive would scarper sharpish, if they knew what was good for them!
