Aretha disclosed in her will that the father of the first two children was named Edward Jordan. The character in the movie is listed as "teenager" in the script. So probably not supposed to be the father (but could be). On an interesting note, one of the girls that Aretha's father had a child with was 12 years old. Praise be to God.
