Better Film: Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999) OR Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens (2015)?

For me, The Phantom Menace STOMPS The Force Awakens so hard, it's not even funny. Anyone who prefers The Force Awakens to The Phantom Menace is on some serious drugs.

The Phantom Menace at least brought something new to the star Wars universe and wasn't just a rehash of A New Hope.

If I had to choose one, it would definitely be TPM. At least it was an original tale, rather than the rehashed-into-dogshit crap that TFA is.
