At the end we get a glimpse of what looks like two pregnant troglodytes laying down as the rescue party makes their escape.
My question: Why did the pregnant troglodytes appear to have wooden pegs where there eyes were?
I presumed it was Arthur that had stabbed them in the eyes when he got there to rescue his wife but it could be just a weird implant like what was placed in the males throats.
shareI think the point is that they only exists to get pregnant and give birth. No limbs and sight required for that.
