Jedi is an ideal. Or at least that’s the impression I got from yoda. Everything else was just window dressing, hence the destruction of the books. As for her training it seems she is the forces reaction to kylo ren. The force balanced itself by allowing Rey to be as force sensitive as kylo. the stronger he gets, the stronger she gets, ying/yang and all that jazz.

How did Rey become force sensitive? Kylo is half Skywalker and Rey is the daughter of 2 junk dealers. Did the force magically jump on her? Again that is not how the force works. Enlighten us all with your wisdom about the lore of the force and how it works.
So where did the skywalkers come from? The sky? What about all the jedi kids in the prequels? Or any of the other masters? Was everyone a skywalker? Leia was a skywalker but wasnt a jedi. What lore are you talking about? The one that was abandoned by disney or the one thats built on the movies? Darth vader had no dad, whats your thinking there? So apparently that is how the force works, it does whatever the fuck it wants.
