Which characters (out of all 3 movies) were the most hate-able?

I have to say both of the Johnnys from the 1978 original and the 2010 remake were indeed equally disgusting, horrible characters. I cheered when each of them got what they just deserved (the 1978 Johnny being castrated in the bathtub and when the 2010 Johnny got his prick snipped).

That Valko dude from the third one was the most despicable characters I've seen from any movie. What a sick, twisted bastard. I think the sheriff from the remake was also pretty horrible. I couldn't stand Ivan, either. Talk about evil...

Save the trees. Wipe your ass with owls!

Something about the sheriff in the remake as just pure evil.

The sheriff is THE most disgusting, evil, vile, and sickest monster of them all. No doubt about this. He was a police officer and A SO CALLED GOD FEARING PERSON.... He had a daughter of his own and a baby on the way. Yet he did all those horrible, terrible things to Jennifer and allowed the other men to hurt her as well. Let's not forget he was also the one that was going to shoot and kill her. These things go against the very things police officers and decent Christians stand for. I repeat he was THE most disgusting, evil, vile and sickest monster of them all!
