Why do we watch such violence?
This movie was brutal and sadistic. Why do we watch? What redeeming qualities did this movie possess?
shareI can only answer for myself and this particular movie. In real life women are sexually exploited and the methods are brutal and inhuman. This film is displaying the type of justice I inwardly wished could be handed out. The people involved in human trafficking are scam bags. The lowest of the low.
So I sit back at home watch this film shocked at how she is brutalized all the while thinking "Oh man, are you going to get yours!" and when the victim turns the tables, I'm right there feeling satisfied that she put an end to them.
Terrible things Lawrence. You've done terrible things.
I just love watching people get what they deserve in life. The problem with the states is everyone walks around getting away with murder so if I can see some get what's coming to them it makes me feel good.
