How in the world did she find all the equipment she used to torture these guys. Was it all conveniently in the sewers? Did she steal if from the church? Since she barely let a priest get near her, she sure wouldn't ask anyone to borrow it.

You remember one scene where she stole their lunches and some items from a backpack? So I believe she could easily have stolen much of the heavier equipment and tools that she used later to torture those guys. She could also have used stolen money to buy some of the items from the Bulgarian counterpart of Kmart or Home Depot.

shareshe snuck back into their house and found wads of cash in a drawer. she stole it and went to buy what she needed. earlier in the movie she explains to the guy who fixes stuff in their apartment that she lived on a farm in missouri while she was making that creative mouse trap, and that she learned a lot of tricks to be resourceful.
