I think his birthday is Nov.1, wasn't that mentioned in the books?

I don't remember any actual dates for any Mikaelson. But November 1 would put him in Scorpio, which wouldn't surprise me. They're supposedly passionate yet self-destructive and mistrusting.
Better question: what's Kol's and Elijah's signs? I vote Aries and Cancer.
As a Scorpio myself, Klaus is definitely a Scorpio. A water sign, which is incredibly passionate, deep, and jealous.

shareAccording to Nadia Petrova, Katherine became a vampire on April 6 1492. Klaus celebrated his birthday on the day he met Katherine shortly before she turned (as shown in flashback in season 2 of tvd - when he was 1st introduced). So that puts his birthday around March. So probably Aries.

Katherine said that Klaus was courting her (something that would have taken months during that time period) but wasn't truly interested in her. That implies that they knew each other long enough for her to pick up on his disinterest even though he was actively courting her. So I don't buy that they met just before she turned. There obviously was enough time for a courtship and for her to build a bond with Elijah.
I don't buy Klaus as an Aries. He lines up much more closely with Scorpio as far as traits go.
Even if its not March it still cant be October/November (Scorpio) because the flashback of his birthday and her transition story both took place in 1492. S he had to have been born between January and early April.
