'Beyond' the 3rd season / TOS series finale

think i sort understand what they were trying to do with Beyond. its called Beyond as its 'beyond' the original series. in that it takes place after 3 years into the 5 year mission (so beyond the 3rd season of TOS/Turnabout Intruder, ok i know thats the prime timeline and actually takes place later than kelvin timeline but still). its similar to the way ST09/ID took place 'before' the events of TOS. so basically the 3 films are sort of showing the unseen beginning and end of TOS (a belated 4th film would no doubt now be in the movie era of between TMP/TWOK)

and its the final mission of the Enterprise (so plays almost like a series finale if TOS had one with f the destruction of the Enterprise..).
