Oscar -Possible spoilers
The scene when Oscar gives his teacher his savings. Was that an indicator that he realised that his mother was guilty? Wanting to pay the money back so that she could get her job back and erase the shame ? We never get to see things from his point of view, just snippets to suggest that he may have believed that she was a thief.
