I rated it a 6/10. My review:

This was okay. I thought DeWanda Wise, Taegen Burns, and Pyper Braun were fine and did what they could with the material. The screenplay was mediocre and the film could have been better if they leaned more into the horror elements. Imaginary is alright and mildly entertaining, although not particularly memorable or distinctive.

And welcome back.

I don't mind the occasional PG-13 Blumhouse horror movie and I feel some people are too harsh on them. They're not my preferred type of horror but it's a change of pace.

For example I thought Night Swim (2024) was alright. A 5 or 6.

Your comments about leaning more into the horror elements are I think most peoples issues with these types of movies. They are pretty tame by design.

I've only seen one Jeff Wadlow movie before, Truth or Dare (2018), which I thought was a decent teen horror. Nothing special but entertaining for a one time watch. I'll check Imaginary out, especially as the early-2024 offerings for horror are very sparse. Slim pickings.
