If Alison had just said Scott was assaulting her, saved Noah three years

Pushing a sexual attacker away in self-defense, then the schmuck getting hit by a passing car could probably have made a very good defense for Noah, if Alison or Helen had stood up. Probably suspended sentences for both of them at best. Noah was a man to take the fall, but no wonder he was sick of their prevaricating BS after prison.

I'm wondering how all the Noah haters will spin it so Allison and Helen aren't irredeemable selfish bitches? Either one of them could have told the truth but they both let the poor guy destroy his life without a second thought.

Helen obviously feels guilty and she should. She's a despicable person that let his children hate him for something she did. Then she acts hurt when he obviously regrets being stupid enough to take the blame.

We don't know yet what Allison has been up to or if she even visited Noah but obviously she never told the truth either. The previews make it look like she is trying her best to destroy another family. I hope the writers don't try to make her sympathetic as they seem to identify with her for some odd reason.

Noah made a stupid decision so he has to live with it. However, it would be nice to see the actual murderers have to suffer somewhat.

That's what I think happened.

When Allison met up with Scottie they got into a heated argument.
Allison pushed away the VERY drunk Scottie, and he fell into the road, to drunk to get up before Helen came along and ran over him.

But, if Allison had admitted what happened with Scottie, wouldn't it come out that she fought with him over who Joannie's father was?
She didn't want Cole to know.

Noah, was protecting Helen, over the accident, and was protecting Allison because he knew she didn't want Cole to know he was the father.

In the courtroom Noah did see the reaction of Cole when he did that double take and knew Joanie was his.

Agreed - accident.

But, if Allison had admitted what happened with Scottie, wouldn't it come out that she fought with him over who Joannie's father was?
She didn't want Cole to know yet.

Why would Alison disclose the true reason of the row?
Scotty was drunk and crazy; the subject could have been anything, like sex or Alison's share in the restaurant, S's sobriety or behaviour...
And there were no witnesses.

corry

True.

But, here's another possibility, maybe I'm thinking to much about it, but, the creep, I forget his name, former owner of "the End" overheard that conversation between Allison and Scottie, when Scottie told Allison Joanie was their's.

If Allison told the truth and it came out in court, the creep, would have come forward and pointed the finger at Allison as the killer because of what he overheard the two of them say.
Allison didn't kill him, but she was the cause of his death.

Noah protected both women, who were mother's, to keep them with their children.

reply

Partially, I can agree with you, but far fetched perhaps....
Scotty didn't have good intentions towards Alison - he still intended to inform Cole.
If he hadn't acted the way he did, this situation hadn't occurred, and so you could say that S was to blame for his own death. He had it coming, one way or another.

reply

exactly!! you really have to buy into this silly premise that everyone is covering up what was actually self defense.
