That 'Hotel - International Assassin' episode just blew my freaking mind!!!!

Mild spoiler alert

I've never seen such beautifully and masterfully written television before watching this episode. Just amazing!!! The dialogue, the choreography , the music during the beautifully lit well scenes with the sun rising in the background, Patti's story , Seeing Wayne and other familiar faces , just a masterpiece.

Also, just the entire portrayal of limbo in that hotel and all the deep messages and philosophy about vanquishing personal demons through forgiveness was so cleverly written.

πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘The best episode EVER!!!

Couldn't agree more. The first time I watched it, I thought, this may be my favorite TV episode ever. 5+ watches has confirmed that suspicion.

reply

I seriously think it may be the best episode of television ever. It's right up there with ozymandias from breaking bad. Unfortunately not nearly enough people watch this show, it's such a shame.

reply

It really is an incredible hour of television tucked deep within an equally impressive entire second season.

I am you and what I see is me.

reply

extraordinary piece of television. Its at another level.

Yeah, one of the best television series of all time (even though, people don't know it) I mean, even movies don't do stuff like this... (Probably Christopher Nolan?)

Kind of reminded me of the Lost episode "Further Instructions" S03E03 where Locke has that "sweat lodge trip" with Boone in the airport and all his friends there as other characters. (The best show of all time, btw :) )

As the title says.

I had the opposite reaction to this episode. I feel like the first 17 episodes were plausible but things just got utterly ridiculous with the last 3 episodes. How many times is Kevin going to die and come back and wake up somewhere strange? The show has really gone off the rails.

Indeed, peak television!
