I hope there are some good new characters for season 3

When season 2 moved to Texas, they introduced some excellent, dynamic characters. I hope they do the same thing for the new season.

Johnnymike, as a tv buff, what is your take on The Stranger Things?

Personally, I am a viewer that can totally appreciate ambiguity. And being that this series is obviously reflecting Christianity, ambiguity seems to be the most appropriate choice.

Haha, I found it quite addicting! We watched it over a weekend, but I know some people finished it in a day. I think Wynona's performance should be commended. I thought the mysteries and the directing were fantastic. The 80's era was fun, and being from Indiana myself, it was nice seeing something from my home state. Granted, there were quite a few cliche's, one could argue that it was trying to remain true to the 80's feel. I am worried that they might not be able to keep up the hype with multiple seasons, but it's wayy too early to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I'm also glad that the story wasn't dragged out. 8 episodes felt like just the right amount of episodes.

Awesome, thanks for the reply man. You watch a lot of good shows, that's why I asked for your opinion.

I enjoyed it also (finished it in 3 days I think). I actually also felt as though 8 episodes was enough. I thought the way they finished the season was a good ending.

I enjoyed Stranger Things a lot, but -this- I just can't agree with. Surprisingly, she was pretty bad. Overacted a -lot-.

I am you and what I see is me.

Probably not with so much to do and so little time...

1. Present characters' storylines to wrap.

2. The saga's (itself) storylines to wrap.

3. Let's not forget that S2 left a lot of us ; with a "few" obvious, unanswered questions (not saying they will be answered in S3 either.)

Just saying that...

Probably not enough time to introduce AND 'flesh-out' any newbies to the level they did in S2, IF DL plans to do any (all) of the above.

--Given a choice, I'd rather have questions answered (not talking about THE BIG ONE, of course, which DL said he would not do) than get all tangled up in the lives of new folks.--
