Leftovers Season 2

I'd consider it to be one of the greatest seasons of television ever. Obviously I have not seen every series to make an accurate rank but I honestly would consider the season virtually perfect. Every episode is AT LEAST great, but some are just extraordinary. International Assasian is one of the best television episode I've ever experienced. Thoughts?

I would agree that it is one of the best seasons of a show I've seen in a long time. Start to finish, just ten episodes of pure storytelling.

Yes, totally agree. I'm doing a rewatch of the show in preparation of Season 3. Bout to finish season one. Can't wait to get to Season 2.

still digesting it but definitely up their like david lynch and bowie made an album than had a tv show made based off that album....but lets not forget season 2 of hannibal

To describe it in one word: Phenomenal.

Season 1 started shaky and improved with each episode. Overall they delivered a solid season. Season 2 however, stepped up from the very first scene to its very last.

It is most definitely one of the greatest seasons I've ever seen and I see a hell of a lot.

I have little hope season 3 will be able to match the quality of season 2, it was just that good. If they can even retain a 3rd of the quality of season 2 for season 3, it will still be great. Perhaps I'll be blown away by the final season though.

if true detective was called something else, it would have done alot better, if i show someone that series, i show it to them in reverse so they don;t have certain expectations,
i love season 2's lynchian feel,
but season one i tend to prefer, just because of the dynamic of the two men,

plus i thought the crowman mask/killer reveal was kinda crappy,

i think they should do a final season and tie them both together,
unfortunately Velcoro is dead,
