HBO has delayed the third and final season of The Leftovers until 2017 (rather than fall 2016), with an exact premiere date to be announced in due course.

Wow that's disappointing. I will miss seeing this show this year. I don't want it to end because I think it's one of the most provocative tv shows around.

If the show starts in Jan or Feb it is pretty much par for the course. Season one started in Jun and ended in August 2014. Season two started in Sept and ended in Dec 2015. So that would mean Jan or Feb of 2017 for Season 3.

shareGod damn it!!! I have been looking forward to this what with it meant to be starting not long after Game of thrones just ending , Gotham just finished up, there is no Dr Who this year either and orange is the new black being a Netflix binge show was watched in a matter of days.
I think it's time i go try some older shows that i never gave a fair chance at the time due to having plenty to watch.
I am thinking of trying House of cards again because Kevin Spacey usually is entertaining!

Its better time was taken to get it right than rush a series on to the screen like True Detective season 2, which suffered greatly from pushing the writer to get it on screen too soon.
