I wish the first two episodes were better
This is one of my favorite shows of all time, if not my favorite, but the pilot in particular is such a terrible representation for what the show would eventually grow into. It makes it hard to recommend to people without telling them to at least get through the third episode before deciding if they will continue or not. I want to tell them they won't have to keep seeing all of the High School bullshit, Wayne's compound and all of the other stuff that luckily just fades away. Plus you're barely getting Matt and Nora who end up being responsible for a lot of the best moments in the series.
