Tedious question maybe, but the hospital location for this episode seems very like the older parts of Mount Vernon Hospital in Northwood, NW London (Hillingdon NHS Trust).
It probably is Oxford / Cowley or any period hospital building but it nagged at me a little in the establishing shots...

As commented elsewhere the hospital is the same one used in the Carry on films, which according to IMDB is Maidenhead Town Hall, Maidenhead, Berkshire.

I now feel somewhat ashamed for thinking it so familiar.
It must be all those rainy bank holiday Mondays of my childhood, with ITV filled with Carry-On and James Bond films. I don't mind referencing Bond now and again but all those callow doctors and menopausal matrons, *shudder*
