Finished

The Blacklist has ended. I really enjoyed season 10. Some predictable, but very fine moments.
The whole post office diversion was genius in it's simplicity.

I just love Raymond Reddington so much. One of the greatest characters ever created for television and James Spader was a master at his craft in playing Reddington. I love the characters in the show, the high stakes, the tension. Everything is so well thought out by the producers, writers etc. I loved the moments between Reddington and Agnes. It showed a more tender side to Raymond.

There were some bad seasons, but I thought the last season was great.

SPOILERS

The way Reddington went out I thought was poetry. He loved the bull skull, intended to put it in a place worthy of it. Then, the place in Spain was one he loved dearly, and he was in nature, and a bull ended him. Ended by nature, and not bullets. Love it.

If they release a 10 season box set, I'm getting it without question.

Maybe you can fill me in ?

I binge watched the first 4 seasons and watch 5 and 6 on TV .

Then gave up.
Got tired waiting to know who Reddington really was .

James Spader as Reddington was brilliant but I personally think the writers should have wrapped up much earlier.

I read that Elizabeth died without knowing who Reddington was.. that sucked.

Does Reddington’s true identity ever get explained?

I googled : Reddington’s death scene. Reddington is killed by a bull? Was he walking in that paddock intentionally, did he have a death wish?

Was Ressler looking for Reddington to arrest him ?

I recognise the Gypsy Kings in the back ground

Identity: Short answer, No.
Killed by a bull: Yes
Death wish: Yes
Ressler to arrest Reddington: Yes (even though it was on foreign ground, I think I recall it being an Interpol matter).

I loved the show, and even if the identity was made a big deal, it's really about the journey, and the characters.

Thanks PersistentViewer for taking the time to reply.😐

Yes it’s all about the journey but after 10 long years I do think the public earned the right to know who Reddington really was.

It’s obvious the writers didn’t have a plausible answer to give. Or worse, they never had intention to reply.

They cheated and fooled viewers.

Anyways, James Spader is a fine actor .. I binge watched the 8 season of the Practice about 4 years ago and then moved onto Boston Legal.

No problem.

I felt like I really had to know also, except in the end, I didn't need to anymore. That was an emotional moment....and the story was about the journey, and not really about his relationship to Liz. Wow. Left me extremely sad that it's over.
