Just saw it. The original was better.
I'd give the original a 6.5/10. This one was a 4/10
It's pretty much a shot for shot remake until the third act. They turned in it into a much more generic and less disturbing movie than the original, I guess so it wouldn't upset audiences? Really didn't care for the changes and felt like it cheapened the movie. McAvoy was good, but other than that this was just a waste of time. Stay home and stream the original this weekend.
