400 years of slavery = guaranteed oscars

I really do appreciate the "message" behind black slavery films, yes, we all know it was a BAD THING and we shouldn't do it anymore, but how many more times do they have to keep shoving that in our face? It seems the recipe to be a surefire oscar winner is simply to make a black slavery film, show white ppl treating blacks disgustingly, and bam, you are guaranteed to win an oscar award. Don't you think it was bad enough that slavery lasted 400 years? Do we need to be reminded of it for the next 400 years in movies?

And to make matters worse, even Leo DiCaprio who was in a black slavery movie (D'Jango Unchained) still couldn't win an oscar even for that.

Ok Oscars, we get your message. You love black people, you hate leo dicaprio. Can we move on now to something original?

Shove it in the face of those who initiated this horror as long as the world spins. Without these movies those who qould want to forget would do so glady.
