Who do you want in Fargo?

I freaking love this show. Both seasons are fantastic television that I recommend to everyone. Easily my favorite show on tv right now. The casts of both seasons are FANASTIC. I'm very intrigued about Ewan McGregor to be in season. Who are some actors you would like to see step into Fargo? For some reason, I really want to see Malcolm McDowell on the show at some point. He's just a really charismatic actor, and I think he could bring a different flavor to what we've seen so far. I could see him as some kind of crime boss. Or maybe some stuffy prick in town that nobody likes, and something terrible happens to him. I don't know. Is there anyone that you would love to see on this show?

The show has already had a couple of my favorite working actors, BBT, Patrick Wilson, Ewan McGregor will be in S3!

For future seasons... Walton Goggins, Bill Paxton, Michael Biehn, Garret Dillahunt. Those are a few names that jump to mind, all of them are excellent actors and would all fit right in the Fargo world.

Well, it's set in the same continuity as the movie. But I guess that doesn't necessarily rule out for sure that cast members from the film could just play different characters. I think it would feel really weird though. I'd be more open to cast from the movie, making an appearance on the show, as their original characters.

I wouldn't mind seeing Vera Farmiga join the cast -- she seems like she would fit into the Fargo universe perfectly, acting sweet one moment and then turning into a raging bitch the next.

She's a great actress. I don't think Bates Motel would work at all without her. As much as I do like the other actors in the show, she's the big pull of that show for me.

Too bad Stephen Root already played a character who was killed in season one; I like seeing Stephen Root in not-necessarily-comedic roles (even though he does comedy very well). If he hadn't already been in season one, I would have liked to see him in a larger role in another season.

Maybe Malcolm McDowell or Titus Welliver.
