Dunst was snubbed big time yet again!

*beep* the Emmys. Paulson only won because OJ was their darling. It was nothing compared to Fargo s2. OJ was just a retelling of true events. Fargo was original screenplay and story. And Dunst was magnificent in Fargo s2 there were so many layers to her character. Emmys *beep* up again as usual

Yep it sucks, Kirsten really deserved it.

"You're not a standup guy today, Pat!"

I concur.

I thighs Bokeem should've got supporting as well, but alas, no.

reply

Thought not thighs! *beep* spellcheck!

Sarah Paulson won because she's a fantastic actress. Kirsten Dunst had an impressive performance, but she's not even in the same league as Sarah Paulson. I loved both shows, but in my opinion The People Vs. O.J. deserved all of its wins, especially in the acting categories.

This game is rigged man. We're like the little b!tches on the chess board-Bodie

Bullocks. Kirsten is better. WAY better. Have you even seen many of her movies ?? Doesnt sound like you have. Kirsten is Leagues better than Paulson. She is only known for AHS. Kirsten is legend in acting having worked with the best. So you really have no clue what you are talking about.

reply

Yes, Sarah Paulson was wonderful, there's no denying that. But Kirsten Dunst's performance was a tour de force: a role of a lifetime that changed the game completely and the layers and subtlety that went in to that are staggering. The award was rightfully Dunst's, even though it's not as bad a loss as that to Lady freaking Gaga.

For payback: Start making some noise on awards websites about a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nod for Dunst for Midnight Special. She was awesome in that too—great supporting performance.

reply

Ditto.

reply

For sure. She has been making very strong choices in the last decade and I'm very tired of her not atleast winning once.

Not all are considered good but she does most all these roles conviction and some are pretty outstanding. She has had an amazing career so far and if anything, points to an amazing future. Her time will come for her deserved awards wins just like Brie Larson this year. Love you Kirsten

I agree that Kirsten should have won. Sarah Paulsen did a good job in the over-hyped OJ thing, but Kirsten was sublime.

I still don't understand all the love for the OJ thing. The documentary that aired a short while later was by far better, it gave younger people an idea of why the case was such a big deal, and what a hero Simpson was before the murders. (ESPN's OJ: Made in America)
