It's pretty obvious that Mike Milligan was an alien and was flying the UFO's. In the last episode he revealed himself as an alien. "Hello, Earthlings!" Do you think it was a coincidence that right after the final shootout at the motel the spaceship leaves and the Milligan shows up. I think not!
