Wafer thin comedy

I wasn't originally interested in this because I thought the premise was pretty thin to base a whole movie around it. I just saw it last night and... well, it was just what I expected it to be. A bunch of otherwise mostly likable actors trying hard to make something out of nothing.

It takes a long time to get going and then the only time it made me laugh was whenever we saw Renner in ninja/ parkour-mode as they were trying to tag him.

Also, Hannibal Buress... isn't he a comedian? I've seen this guy in about a half-dozen movies and I have yet to hear or see anything funny from him.

He always plays the exact same character... the guy who is barely there, like he's just walking through the movie set. One emotionless expression on his face and lines that consist of stating the obvious, or things that we can see for ourselves as viewers. Not once does he seem connected to any of the other people in this movie.
