Too bad about Perkins

I thought she was going to be a good character to play off of Wick until she gave up Marcus. I thought it was unfortunate to lose her, and I was hoping she had a twin sister that would appear in the sequel.

Yea I'm with you. Perkins could have easily been a fun reoccurring character. I was kinda mad she got snuffed but in the grand scheme of things it works in the world of the movie. She broke the rules. She paid the consequence.

I do have a question though.

Perkins was killed by The Continental because she killed somebody on their property. But wasn't the spa where Iosef relaxing ALSO Continental property? I thought John Wick would get in trouble with them for that, but apparently not. Did I misunderstand whether the spa was run by the Continental Hotel?

The spa called Red Circle had nothing to do with the continental management. Thats why he got tipped off by the barwoman saying compliments of the house, meaning Milton.

Yeah, she was the Mona Sax of this story. And now that you mention it, Mona had a twin sister!

Perhaps it's just guys who like her but I didn't find her all that remarkable to appear in the sequel.

Concur. She was fierce! Granted she’s not the most original character you’ve seen in an assassin movie. She is, however, impressive. Her recklessness, beauty, and that intense, almost sadistic look in her eyes made her such a killer presence. I can’t say that I missed her that much in Chapter Two, but imagining what she could’ve brought to the film is a pleasant thought. (The hype leading up to the showdown between Wick & Ares, the big female villain in the sequel, is satisfying.)

That said, breaking the rules the way she did was utterly foolish. And giving herself up so easily at the end was even worse! But all in all, she did leave her mark.
