Does anyone really LOVE this show?

I tried watching it earlier, and gave up because I just didn't like the lead kid that much. So now I'm watching it because of "Ahsoka", and it's better than I first gave it credit for, and seems to be going in an interesting direction now that I'm starting S3.

But somehow I still don't like or identify with the lead kid that much, and I still think that "Clone Wars" and "The Bad Batch" are better shows. So... is anyone nuts about this show? And does anyone adore Ezra as much as the makers of "Ahsoka" assume we do?

I like it. It's not my favorite or anything like that buy it's entertaining for the most part.

And Ezra was easily my least favorite character of all the main players. He does get less annoying over time but boy does it take a long ass time.

There were times when I would legit fast forward through all his scenes. I loved the fucking droid more than him, man!

Its interesting that Ezra is your least favorite character, and mine. The makers of "Ahsoka" seemed to think we love him, and are eager to see him again.

Honestly, he's like this generic messed-up-kid character.

There were so many fricking times that I wished Kanan Jarrus was the main character.

A Masterless Jedi who had to "figure it out" on his own is way more interesting than the whiny annoying brat that was Ezra Bridger.

I agree. Hera was also more interesting and likeable, she was the one who had to be the responsible grownup, and I identify with that more than some whiny kid.

Idk how they're written/portrayed in the Ahsoka show but I absolutely loved Hera & Sabine in Rebels.

Zeb, Agent Kallus & Captain Rex were also great.

It's been a long time since I watched it but I definitely recall it started to improve a lot towards the tail end of Season 2.

As a negative, you could say this was due to fan servicing in a lot of other Star Wars content, but it make it a decent viewing experience. I think this coincided with it moving away from being very much longer child focused as well, so I'm sure you'll prefer Seasons 3 and 4...

I loved the show and the characters including Ezra.

I haven't watched the other three shows mentioned yet. The Bad Batch didn't appeal to me, but I'll give it a try based on the positive critique.
