No Charmed Al Pacino

Oscar tuned a very heavy Pacino frequency, But no charm at all. and really pathetic movie by the way... left watching after 1 hour.

reply

Why don't you try watching from the right after an hour? It might improve matters.

reply

Hahahaha...touche...it really was a very good movie....

Oscar Isaac was channeling Early Al all the way, but his performance and this film are both pretentious, almost laughable failures. I usually don't bother doing negative reviews, but this film is two tedious hours long, always promising to deliver something and never doing it.

Barely a SIX.

yeah agreed

Haven't seen the film. I want to, but haven't yet. Have you ever seen a movie called The Usual Suspects? How about Se7en? How about the Sixth Sense?

Watch the film all the way through. Just ironic to me how you judge something that you willfully cut short. Seems to me that if you CHOOSE to disrespect all of those people enough to walk out on theirs not of love, you maybe- just maybe- cashed in your right to an opinion.

Don't comment until you've seen the whole film. It makes you look like a fckwit.

shouldn't bother further if a movie is not on par with you

reply

Dude. The *beep* are you talking about? Dear christ. You didn't see this movie. That was really your whole post. You post said. I never saw A Most Violent Year.

Join the jerks!

I thought Oscar was good. That was the only redeeming quality about this film! I think he is a good actor. Not a better actor than Al Pachino but better looking IMO!

I didn't think much of this movie, but it actually got a little better as it went on. The first hour was really BORING, you should have stayed and watched the rest though because it did pick up a little bit!

reply

Isaac was good in this.

Meh wasn't a 70s Pacino in this, but who is? Very few actors, that's a tough level to reach.
