Missed a great opportunity

So I loved the tension all throughout. You had the dread feeling they'd get lost. And then the spooky stranger appears. And then they heard the bear noises. Good stuff. But the one scene that should have been so much better was when the lady was watching the bear eat the boyfriend. She wasn't sure what to do, and it was pretty scary. Next thing you know, they fade to black and she is running in the woods. Huh???!!!! This was the biggest moment of conflict in the film, the heroine vs. the monster, and the director chose to fade to black? Shoulda kept up the tension there.

Probably an editing decision forced upon them by the limited budget.

There was a lot of "editing decision" in this film. Very frustrating. If you don't have enough money, wait until you raise enough. It's piss pot to do it like this. You can't go back.

It's not a monster movie.

i'm sorry you didnt get more quality bear on human time.
