How the hell do you have that much water in the basement.

Have you ever been in a flooded basement? Our neighbor's basement flooded during a time we had tons and tons of rain. First, their backyard filled up almost like a pond and it just happened to find it's way into the basement almost like a runoff. When my husband went over to help it was almost waist-high on me. I'm short though but it shocked me. I didn't want to get into that nasty water but i had to hand something to my neighbor.

More to the point, how the hell do you have a basement in a council house in suburban London? Not going to happen, lol.

Came on here to say the same thing. Took me right out of the film. So much the producers got wrong about England, from the accents to the TV clip calling a lollipop man a crossing guard. WTF.
